How I got here…
As the son of a US Army officer, I was fortunate enough to travel to and live in a variety of places growing up. This helped me to appreciate the differences between cultures while realizing the basic “sameness” we all possess.
My love of connecting with people led me to a 20+ year career in the experiential marketing industry, where I crisscrossed the country creating and executing events for some amazing clients. From touring in a bus for Uncle Ben’s Rice, cooking meals to say thank you to our first responders after 9/11, to launching the latest M&M’s product line in the heart of New York City, to fairs and festivals big and small, I’ve had the privilege of crafting experiences to connect my clients’ brands to their consumers.
Once COVID hit in the early Spring of 2020 and events all over the world were put on pause, I took my first-ever lay-off as a time to reflect, regroup, and figure out what was next for me.
Would my skills transfer? In my mid-forties, was I getting too old to compete in my industry? Did I really want to be gone all summer and miss those functions and time with my family? Could I be doing more to give back?
Fortunately, the stars aligned, and I discovered the Entrepreneur’s Source. Now I can continue connecting with and helping people while working for myself. As a lifelong “company man”, I honestly didn’t see this coming, but I am proud to call myself a small business owner!
How I can help…
My no-pressure, educational approach will help you look inward to discover the lifestyle and income you are looking to achieve and see if using your transferable skills to take ownership of your career might help you accomplish those goals, all in a safe space and at your speed.
Overworked and underappreciated? Out of work and looking for that next opportunity? Ready to make a mid-career shift? Don’t see any upward opportunity where you currently are? Interested in business ownership? Scared to death of business ownership? Happy, but would be interested in bringing in some additional income? If any of those sound familiar, let’s talk!
My service is always free to my clients, and I’m looking forward to learning more about you!
When I’m not coaching…
I enjoy traveling, sharing craft beer with friends, and trying not to get hurt playing disc golf & exploring Western North Carolina.
